First, thank you to all the parents who have had conferences so far, for your unending support in your child’s education! It is a delight to be working with you and your children and celebrate their growth.
By now you have received your child’s “Flat Stanley” to send out, in hopes of receiving pictures and lettersx from afar. We will create a bulletin board in our hallway with pictures we receive! Please ask that they are returned before April vacation.
Children are learning valuable Research skills as they explore cultures around the world. If your family would like to add to this unit of study with any family cultural traditions or information, we would love to have you come in and share them with the class.
I’m sure you have heard about our surprise caterpillars! We study butterflies in April, but they often hatch during the vacation so we requested delivery a little earlier this year. Our next field trip will be to The Butterfly Place on April 13… watch for a permission form to come home soon!

- Our Open House will be on May 19 this year, at 8:30 am. We hope you can make it!
